The model is designed as a learning aid for hygiene and anatomy of the ear.
It helps students to understand the three main structural parts of the hearing organ (external ear, middle ear, internal ear) and the relationship between structure and function of the vestibular organ.
This model demonstrates:
• External ear: showing the shape of the auricle and the primary features of the external auditory meatus.
• Middle ear: showing the tympanic membrane, the three auditory ossicles (malleus/hammer, incus/anvil, stapes/stirrup) and the Eustacean tube.
• Internal ear: showing the chochlea and the vestibule (consisting of the three semicircular canals within the osseous labyrinth).
Made of washable, high-quality PVC and is mounted on a base.
